Overview

The challenge with Meowfo was to build a full-fledged merchandise brand without a warehouse to back it up. The catalog—unisex T-shirts, crop tops, dad hats, sports shirts, and stickers—is extensive, and each item comes in various sizes and colors, which in a traditional model would mean tying up capital in hundreds of combinations that might never sell. The goal was to design a store that operated on demand: where each order would trigger production and shipping without manual intervention, and where the end customer wouldn’t notice any difference compared to shopping at a store with its own inventory. The result is a print-on-demand e-commerce platform integrated with **Printful**. When an order comes in, it is automatically sent to the supplier, who prints the garment and ships it directly to the buyer. Meowfo doesn’t handle inventory, manage logistics, or risk capital on upfront production: the catalog can grow with new designs at no upfront cost. We designed the product page so that customization is part of the experience, not an obstacle. For each item, customers can choose the size, color, and variant without reloading the page or losing their place in the checkout process, and the descriptions detail the actual materials used in each item—from the high-opacity, bubble-free film of the stickers to the sports T-shirt made from recycled materials—because when selling clothing online, technical specifications are what replace the fitting room. The site’s structure organizes the catalog by collections and seasons, allowing the brand to launch new lines without having to redesign the navigation. We’ve added a newsletter sign-up feature with a first-purchase incentive, which turns a casual visitor into a direct contact: in a model without inventory, the customer base is the business’s true asset. ---
